Problem Description You are given an integer array nums and an integer k. You want to find a subsequence of nums of length k that has the largest sum. Return any such subsequence as an integer array of length k. A subsequence is an array that can be derived from

Kth Largest Element in a Stream Solution In C++/Python/Java/JS

Problem Description You are part of a university admissions office and need to keep track of the kth highest test score from applicants in real-time. This helps to determine cut-off marks for interviews and admissions dynamically as new applicants submit their scores. You are tasked to implement a class which,

Kth Largest Element in an Array Solution In C++/Python/Java/JS

Problem Description Given an integer array nums and an integer k, return the kth largest element in the array. Note that it is the kth largest element in the sorted order, not the kth distinct element. Can you solve it without sorting? Example Input: nums = [3,2,1,5,6,

The K Weakest Rows in a Matrix Solution In C++/Python/Java/JS

Problem Description You are given an m x n binary matrix mat of 1's (representing soldiers) and 0's (representing civilians). The soldiers are positioned in front of the civilians. That is, all the 1's will appear to the left of all the 0'

Maximum Subsequence Score Solution In C++/Python/Java/JS

Problem Description You are given two 0-indexed integer arrays nums1 and nums2 of equal length n and a positive integer k. You must choose a subsequence of indices from nums1 of length k. For chosen indices i0, i1, ..., ik - 1, your score is defined as: The sum of the

Maximum Elegance of a K-Length Subsequence Solution In C++/Python/Java/JS

Problem Description You are given a 0-indexed 2D integer array items of length n and an integer k. items[i] = [profiti, categoryi], where profiti and categoryi denote the profit and category of the ith item respectively. Let's define the elegance of a subsequence of items as total_profit

Maximum Performance of a Team Solution In C++/Python/Java/JS

Problem Description You are given two integers n and k and two integer arrays speed and efficiency both of length n. There are n engineers numbered from 1 to n. speed[i] and efficiency[i] represent the speed and efficiency of the ith engineer respectively. Choose at most k different

Maximum Average Pass Ratio Solution In C++/Java/Python/Javascript

Problem Description There is a school that has classes of students and each class will be having a final exam. You are given a 2D integer array classes, where classes[i] = [passi, totali]. You know beforehand that in the ith class, there are totali total students, but only passi number

Reorganize String Solution In C++/Java/Python/Javascript

Problem Description Given a string s, rearrange the characters of s so that any two adjacent characters are not the same. Return any possible rearrangement of s or return "" if not possible. Examples Input: s = "aab" Output: "aba" Explanation: In the rearranged string "

Longest Happy String Solution In C++/Java/Python/Javascript

Problem Description A string s is called happy if it satisfies the following conditions: 1. 's' only contains the letters 'a', 'b', and 'c'. 2. 's' does not contain any of "aaa", "bbb", or "ccc&

Reduce Array Size to The Half Solution In C++/Java/Python/Javascript

Problem Description You are given an integer array arr. You can choose a set of integers and remove all the occurrences of these integers in the array. Return the minimum size of the set so that at least half of the integers of the array are removed. Example Input: arr

Remove Element Solution In C++/Java/Python/JS

Problem Description Given an integer array nums and an integer val, remove all occurrences of val in nums in-place. The order of the elements may be changed. Then return the number of elements in nums which are not equal to val. Consider the number of elements in nums which are

Count Vowel Strings in Ranges Solution In C++/Java/Python/JS

Problem Description You are given a 0-indexed array of strings words and a 2D array of integers queries. Each query queries[i] = [li, ri] asks us to find the number of strings present at the indices ranging from li to ri (both inclusive) of words that start and end with

Find the Mean/Median/Mode of the Given Array Solution In C++/Java/Python/JS

Description Statistical measures help us understand data distribution and central tendency. When analyzing data, we often need to find representative values that summarize the entire dataset. The three most common statistical measures are: 1. Mean: The arithmetic average of all values in the array. 2. Median: The middle value when

Strings in C++

In C++, a string is a data structure that represents a sequence of characters used to store and manipulate text.
